DISCLAIMER: These courses are based on the Western Australian Curriculum but many of the course concepts and topics should apply to ATAR courses in other States and Territories.
This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to succeed in the Human Biology ATAR Examination. The main ATHBY syllabus concepts covered are: Nervous and Endocrine System Responses, Homeostasis (blood sugar, thermoregulation, gas concentrations and bodily fluids), Protection Against Invaders (including specific resistance to infections), Biotechnology, Mutations and Evolutionary Mechanisms (fossil evidence, Hominid evolution and tools and culture). All of these concepts will be further reinforced with a thorough understanding of scientific inquiry specific to Human Biology ATAR. The teaching videos are accompanied by detailed PowerPoints that provide detailed notes, diagrams and worked past exam questions. These videos allow you to watch, rewind and pause your way through the content at your own desired pace.

Pass your exams!!
I probably would not have passed my exams if it weren't for these tutorials! All the content is presented in an amazing, and easy to understand format, with syllabus dotpoints to start off each lesson, followed by helpful diagrams and tables to briefly explain the content, and finally exam questions that directly relate to the content of each tutorial. Miss Suckling presents everything in a super friendly and engaging way, allowing you to consolidate your human bio knowledge from throughout the year. I enjoy Human Bio so much more now that I understand the content- all thanks to this course. 10/10 would recommend!!
